Many families love to have dogs not just for pets but as family members. They enjoy the dog’s company as they teach them different tricks and control. Indeed, dogs bring families happiness, love and protection like no other pets do. They are so loyal that they will protect you with their life when the situation calls for it. If you plan to have your own dogs or if you already have one, it is best to learn some dog training tips so you may effectively teach them about proper behavior and also some cool tricks. When teaching a dog, it is best to start when they are still puppies.
There are puppies that are fast learners while there are those who can be lazy and slow. They are the same as the people you see in the classroom, but it doesn’t mean they can’t learn. When training your puppies, first, make sure that you show them you are in charge. Assert your authority. For example, crate training puppies is done by letting them stay in a crate comfortably so they may be placed even in your room or the living room. When they are fussing about their crates, do not let them out. Speak to them, don’t yell. When they finally relaxed and stopped creating ruckus for a while, reward them to tell them they made a great job. The trick when training dogs is reward, repetition and speaking tone. When they do something you ask them to do make sure that you reward them so they could remember it. Repeat it many times so it may become part of their system. And, talk to them. When there’s something you don’t want, talk in a very assertive voice asking them to stop but speak sweetly when you cuddle with them.
